Terms of Use

Last updated

These terms apply to your use of greysignature.com and to every order you place with Grey Signature. Grey Signature is a brand of Richest Branding Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. Questions? Email studio@greysignature.com.

01Our services

We design brand identities and digital assets. Our current packages fall into two groups:

  • Brand packages: logo design, brand identity systems and complete brand ecosystems (guidelines, stationery, social, advertising and packaging assets, depending on the package).
  • Digital packages: monthly social media content plans, business websites and online stores.

The exact deliverables, number of concepts, revision rounds and delivery time for each package are listed on our pricing and checkout pages at the moment you order. That listing forms part of your agreement with us. Everything is delivered digitally; we do not ship physical goods.

02Orders and payments

Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). One-time packages are paid in full before work begins. Monthly plans are billed in advance for each month of service until you cancel.

We accept PayPal (including guest card payment through PayPal), bank transfer through Wise and, where shown, card payment through Stripe. Payments are processed by those providers; we never see or store your full card details.

An order is confirmed when payment clears. For bank transfers, work starts once the funds arrive in our account with your order reference. We may cancel and fully refund an order we cannot verify, or one placed with incorrect pricing caused by a technical error.

Currency and fees

If your bank or card is in another currency, your provider converts the amount at its own rate and may charge its own fees. Those charges are outside our control and are not refundable by us.

Coupons and offers

Discount codes and one-time offers apply only as described when they are shown, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined unless we say so.

03The brief and delivery timelines

After payment you receive a private link to your project brief. Delivery timelines start when we receive a complete brief, not when payment clears.

Brand packages: first concepts are delivered within the time stated for your package (for example "2 Days Delivery"). "Days" means business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in India. Website and online store timelines are estimates stated in weeks and depend on you supplying content, access and feedback on time.

Rush delivery add-ons move your project up the queue. If we miss a rush deadline that was purchased, we refund the rush fee.

04Revisions

Each package includes the number of revision rounds shown on its listing. A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback on the current design, which we then update.

Revisions refine the concept you choose; they do not include starting new concepts, a new direction or a change of scope (for example adding pages, products or languages to a website). Additional concepts and out-of-scope work can be quoted separately. Where a package says "unlimited revisions", that means revisions to the selected concept for as long as the project is active, used reasonably.

05Your responsibilities

To deliver on time we need you to:

  • give accurate, complete information in the brief and keep your contact details current;
  • reply to questions and review rounds promptly;
  • supply any content, logos, photography, copy, product data and account access that your package needs;
  • make sure you have the right to everything you send us, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

You are responsible for checking final designs, including spelling, names and contact details, before you approve them.

06Intellectual property

When your order is paid in full and you approve the final design, all intellectual property in the final delivered artwork transfers to you. You may use, modify and register it as you see fit.

Concepts you did not select, sketches, working files we have not delivered, and our own templates, tools and know-how remain ours.

Unless you ask us not to in writing, we may show the finished work in our portfolio and marketing after it has been publicly launched. We will never publish confidential information from your brief.

07Fonts, mockups and third-party assets

Logos are drawn by our designers, not generated from templates or AI image tools. Brand systems may recommend typefaces, photography or icons owned by third parties. Free and open-licence assets are used where possible; where a commercial licence is needed (for example a paid font for print use), we will tell you, and buying that licence is your responsibility.

Mockups and presentation scenes are for illustration only and are not part of the deliverables unless your package says so. Website packages may rely on third-party platforms (for example Shopify, Webflow, Framer or WordPress) whose own terms and subscription fees apply to you.

08Refunds

Refund eligibility is set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

09Chargebacks and payment disputes

If something is wrong, contact us first at studio@greysignature.com; we resolve most issues within one business day. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first may pause work on your project while the dispute is open. If a dispute is decided in your favour, the licence to use any delivered work ends.

10Cancellation and client inactivity

You may cancel a one-time order before we start work for a full refund. After work starts, the Refund Policy applies. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the month already paid.

If we do not hear from you for 30 consecutive days while we are waiting on your brief, feedback or content, we will remind you by email. If there is still no response after a further 10 days, we may close the project as delivered in its current state.

11Trademarks

We design marks to be original, but we do not run legal trademark searches and cannot guarantee that a design can be registered or is free of conflict in every country. Registering and protecting your trademark is your responsibility; we recommend speaking to a trademark attorney before you launch.

12Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13Disclaimer of warranties

We deliver our services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, the services and this website are provided "as is". We do not promise any particular commercial result from a design or website, and we are not responsible for third-party platforms, hosting or plugins outside our control.

14Termination

We may decline or stop work on an order if we reasonably believe it involves fraud, unlawful or hateful content, abuse of our team, or a serious breach of these terms. If we stop work for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of your payment.

15Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that we cannot resolve together will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction over the registered office of Richest Branding Private Limited, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with its "last updated" date, applies to orders placed from that date. Orders already in progress continue under the terms that applied when they were placed.
